In order to deliver prints with speed and consistency the PRO-4000 has a few tricks up its sleeve, including Canon's FINE technology with a 1.28"-wide 12-channel print head, a twelve-color LUCIA PRO pigmented ink set with Chroma Optimizer, a high-precision mechanical platform, and the L-COA PRO high-speed image processing engine. This design also means that there is no switching required when working with matte black or photo black inks. Additionally, this model offers a built-in color densitometer that uses a three-color LED and condenser lens to ensure peak performance.
